Plumbcare Yorkshire
Automating Monthly KPI Reporting
Plumbcare Yorkshire’s monthly KPI performance reporting process was taking approximately four to five working days every month. Data had to be extracted manually from multiple systems, filtered, combined and transformed before the final reports could be produced for engineering management.
Weeve Data designed an automated reporting solution to streamline the process. The solution brought together job, HR, parts and operational data; automated the extraction and transformation work; retained a controlled manual review step for performance adjustments; and delivered the results through a centralised, interactive KPI report.

Weeve Data designed an automated reporting solution to streamline the process. The solution brought together job, HR, parts and operational data; automated the extraction and transformation work; retained a controlled manual review step for performance adjustments; and delivered the results through a centralised, interactive KPI report.
The result was a reporting process that could run in minutes rather than days, removing the majority of manual data preparation and report construction. This freed up four to five days of staff time each month, equivalent to up to 60 working days a year, reducing reporting costs, improving reliability and allowing management to focus more time on performance improvement rather than producing the report itself.
The new reporting environment also gave Plumbcare a more robust foundation for future automation, with secure centralised data, historical comparison and easier access to the information needed to support plumbers and gas engineers.
